The survey for the CULC nickname has inspired some interesting ideas. The one I've heard that struck me the most was "The Beard." I just had to sit down and come up with an acronym: Building for the Enrichment of Academics and Receiving Direction. Hey, it covers the main purpose. :) Only at Tech.

Today I saw a guy walk out into traffic while holding his girlfriend's hand. His girlfriend was upset with him ... to which he responded, "Don't worry, I would've taken the brunt of the crash for you, baby ... ninety percent of the force would have dissipated before the car even touched you." For april fools' day today, the most common gag I've seen Georgia Techies pull on Facebook is posting that they're now engaged or in a relationship. Nobody's calling each other out on it--we all want to optimistically believe that yes, at Tech it actually CAN happen. Only at Tech
