Overheard after the football game on Saturday, "I was impressed that we almost filled the stadium today since DragonCon is going on." Only at Tech

A guy behind me at the football game was using the 3 laws of thermodynamics as an argument for a play. Another guy stopped and corrected him for using one of the laws incorrectly. Only at Tech.

While heading across the SAC fields to my dorm, I couldn't help but notice a group of ~8 adults dressed in bright orange and yellow safety vests. Guess what they were doing? Yup, you guessed it. Segway races on the Astroturf!! Only at Tech.

When GT was playing Duke in 2006, the year that they went to the final four (and consequently championship game), one of my then-boyfriend's roommates brought a Physics book that was not part of his curriculum for pleasure reading. He didn't hardly look up from it during the game. Only at Tech.

so we were on the SAC fields throwing the football and one of them wanted to punt the ball. He had never done so b4 and of course he was holding it wrong so we tried to tell him the right way but with no success. Finally i told him to turn it about the z-axis and he fully understood. Only at Tech

The other day I was sitting on a bus next to one of our HUGE football players. I was interested in what he was listening to, since he was bobbing his head up and down to the music on his iPhone. I peeked and saw it was the Harry Potter 5 Soundtrack. Win football players: Only at Tech.
