I got my Calc III test back. The bad news? I got a 45. The good news? It was the highest grade in the class. Only at Tech.

When I first came to Tech, I heard lots of girls joke that "The odds are good, but the good are odd" when it came to guys. After just a semester I concluded that when it actually comes to the girls at Tech...the odds are bad, and goods are worse. Only at Tech.

I made a random sound in my first CS lecture; the guy in front of me turns around and says, "Indeed." During break he asks me where I learned to speak Klingon. Apparently I said "success" in Klingon at an appropriate time, and someone noticed. Only at Tech.

There were 20 people on the Stinger the other day, and only one of them was a girl. Then again, she did look pretty occupied trying to drive the thing. Only at Tech.

The other day I walked past a couple talking in a foreign language. Curious, I asked them what language they were speaking. The girl turned to me smiled and said Elven. Only at Tech.

I was registering for the spring semester and I couldn't decide between two classes. I ended up picking one over the other because it made my schedule look like a Space Invaders alien on my calendar. Only at Tech.
